Travel day. We left Seattle and arrived in Tuscon around noon. We grabbed lunch in a forgetable chain restaurant which had suprisingly good Mexican food, at least for a quick stop. We tried birding at one spot, but by 1pm we were already in the heat of the day.
The best birding so far has been from the air-conditioned room in the hotel. From our comfortable room, we spotted a Swainson's Hawk and White-winged Doves. As the sun has started to set, more of the White-winged Doves have started to gather outside of our window looking toward the sunset.
